Stranyer , if your player is using the 9.0.xx series firmwares, the S1fwx is unable to create a working firmware copy of the player.
However, if the player is running a version 9.0.43 firmware, you would be able to extract the firmware using the guide found
Here.
You'll be able to check the player's firmware version through the System menu.
But if your player is working properly, i'll suggest just doing a backup (if it is 9.0.43), and not do anything to it. As the version 9.0.xx series players are very much more difficult to recover than the 3.5.xx series players.
