leleoce - hate to break it to ya, but your player is not 1gb as advertised as the kind of chipset these players have do not support more than 2gb. Ugoole is known for selling hacked players. As for the firmware issue, I will be happy to send firmware from my players. I have 3 of this type of player, none of which were hacked. 1 was black with 512mb, another was black with 1gb, and another silver with 1gb. PM me with your e-mail address and I'll send them to you. Hopefully they'll be able to help recover your dead player.
