Default Re: just got a new fake ipod nano

wuzzupnshiat , most importantly, never ever "update" or "upgrade" with someone else's firmware. You will only kill your player. Search the forum for posts regarding "dead players" and you'll understand.

However, you can theme your player. But always use your own extracted firmware, so your player will be safe.

Firstly, extract and repair your firmware. The guide is Here.
This is also your backup firmware, keep it safely. Also use this for theming.

Next, edit your firmware using S1res Tool. The guide is Here.

After you have themed your firmware, flash in your editted firmware back in your player. The guide is Here.

There are many themes which you can use in downloads section. Some may work, some may not. As different firmwares requires different themes with different layouts.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.
