baddog2003 , i would suggest a format on your player. It probably might clear the virus (i'm not sure as i've not experienced it before), and as well verify your player's real memory capacity. The guide is here

And most importantly! DO NOT update or upgrade with another person's firmware! It will only kill your player. Have a search in the forum for dead players and you'll understand.
