You may need a CODEC installed on your computer so the converter can conver the VOB file to AVI.
Try the codec packs available from our site here:
http://www.mympxplayer.org/drivers-codecs-dc12.html.
I would recommend "K-Lite Mega Codec Pack". Try downloading that, install it then try the conversion again and let us know of the result.
