Default Re: My AMV video is wavey please help

Hi Harel,
Ok i should have closed this link by including how i got my player to play videos without the tv tuning effect.

Heres EXACTLY what i did in the following order:

1. I uninstalled my amv converter which was amv converter version 3.68 (Whatever version you have installed please uninstall it now or your player will not work).

2. I restarted my computer

3. I went on the microsoft website for the direct x9 download through the following link:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

COPY AND PASTE THE ABOVE LINK INTO A NEW WINDOW BROWSER ONCE THE PAGE LOADS CLICK ON CONTINUE. DO THIS EVEN IF YOU ALREADY HAVE THE DIRECT X9 INSTALLED ON YOUR COMPUTER

4. I restarted my computer again

5. I downloaded the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 1.63 from the following site:
http://www.free-codecs.com/K_Lite_Me...k_download.htm

6. I installed the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 1.63

7. I restarted my computer again

8. I downloaded windows media player 11 from the following site
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...1/default.aspx

9. I installed the windows media player 11

10. I restarted my computer again

11. I downloaded AMV converter 4.00 from the following site:
http://www.brothersoft.com/dvd_video...ool_50890.html

12. I installed the AMV 4.00 converter

13. I restarted my computer

14. Then i opened the AMV program which is listed in the ALL PROGRAMS TOOLBAR of your computer when you click START. The program is under its new name of MP3 PLAYER UTILITIES 4.00. Then open AMV CONVERT TOOL to convert your movie and when you transfer it to your player it will not be like tv tuning but a crystal clear picture.

GOODLUCK AND PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY AS THEY ARE WRITTEN, AND HOPEFULLY YOU WILL BE VERY HAPPY AND PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW YOU GOT ON.
