8) Those instructions are a joke. There were screenshots that were less than 1cm square on mine.
As far as the firmware goes, the 9.0.48 firmware can not be extracted or backed up at this time since no tool exists now to do that. Changing firmware on any of these players is very risky. In other words, don't mess with it. I too have 9.0.48
