the_prodigy_man , did you flash in someone else's firmware into your player?
If you did not and your player is still under warranty, i'll suggest you contact your seller for an exchange.
If you did flash in someone else's firmware, can you still remember your old version number?
Your player would be using the 9.0.xx series of firmwares. There are some v9.0.xx firmwares in the downloads section here
