michiganjfrog - sorry to tell you that I didn't have the same USB problems that you're having - well, at least not until my glacier unexplicably went completely dead two days ago and now it won't turn on and neither the computer nor the AC adaptor will recognize it. (see topic
here) But when it DID work, it worked fine as far as USB transfers.
Even so, it seems like glaciers in general have problems because you're the fifth person on this forum I've seen (including myself) who have had problems with theirs. Right now I'm very upset that mine is dead for no reason and seeking either a full refund or replacement from Uxcell.
*Edit - maybe your problem isn't as serious as mine though. You could try using a new USB cable and see if that solves the problem.
