Sorry to hear about the problems you're having with your player.
If you've tried both your computer and yor gf's computer, then I would say it sounds like either a USB problem or the USB connector on the end of your player.
Do you have another USB cable you can use instead to test? You've already tried another computer, so that rules out the possiblity of the computer being the problem.
Try another USB cable if you can, otherwise I would suggest contacting UXcell about this problem on
