Jens , being able to load up 2GB of files does not mean the memory chip is genuine. In a hacked memory architecture, for example a hacked 1GB showing 2GB, can show files that are copied over the 1GB limit.
But it is only the filenames that appear, there is physically no data for those files over the 1GB limit. These files will have errors or player restarts when played.

The memory hack is meant to fool the Windows operating system, so a normal Right click and format does not solve the problem. You will need a third party formatting tool to format it. The guide is here http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-re...ck-vt2400.html
A low-level format is a factory level format, it rebuilds the whole partition as compared to formating in Windows where the files are just deleted from memory.

Regarding the static there is guide here to isolate the various components http://s1mp3.org/en/docs_advanceduguide.php#reestart

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.
