Default RESULT! Memory issues with 2GB Osmium player

Some good news!
The replacement Osmium 2GB player arrived yesterday, just one week after Keith @ Uxcell said he had authorised the replacement based on me saying I'd returned the original.
And it really is 2Gbytes this time! Unlike the 230Mbytes of the first one that was received. I've filled it full to over 1.9Gbytes with MP3s, WMAs, JPGs etc and there is no file or directory corruption!
The only downside I've noticed so far is that this replacement does not work on all my USB 2.0 ports. My monitor has a built-in hub and it doesn't work on these, but it's OK on the ports on the front of the system unit - though the throughput is nothing like USB 2.0 speed. But not a huge problem as long as it doesn't go bad.
The previous Osmium worked at a good speed on all ports.

I'd like to say a special thank you to Keith @ Uxcell and Binh for responding to the problem and encouraging me to return the original for replacement - despite the 6.55 GPB carriage cost.
It does look like Uxcell is a reputable supplier that in this case was let down by one of their suppliers.

Also arriving yesterday to a colleague at work was a 4GB iNano clone, like the iPlatinum, bought off eBay, which was genuine 4Gbytes, all for 30 GPB! So not all players are not what they seem!
