What a nightmare my 2GB Glacier has died after only 5 days. The MP3 player was taken great care of. Might be the contacts. Check the 3 gold contacts to see if they are making good contact with the battery terminals. Place a piece of paper under the battery opposite side of the contacts to ensure this. If you have a voltmeter, check that your battery is around 3.6v. Is Windows able to see it as a drive?
