The batteries you got are already "hacked" (ie. they are copies from "MaxCell" I believe, not true Nokia's. ) Well the only fair way to test the 2 batteries is to charge to full then play music until they run down, and be around when it dies to take the time!
Yes, I realize this doesn't simulate real world conditions, and for that you have to start/stop over a period of time, and that might make the battery last longer or shorter, but then it makes it impossible to accurately compare one battery to the other, and that's the point here. People want to know whether the 1700mah is worth it or whether the original true Nokia is.
Note that buying an original true Nokia from an eBay seller is not a 100% guarantee! The one I bought off eBay came in a sealed package with the hologram sticker that checked out, but the validation number when tested on Nokia's site said it had been used before!
