pmilladcs , alright i see where your problem is. You would have 3 options on this thing:

1. Leave it as it is and use a small pin to switch it on/off when needed.

2. Find a similar switch at your local electronics store and get it replaced.

3. Remove the switch and solder a permanent wire across it (ie permanent on).
