amitshahc , unfortunately you can't do anything to the memory now. Your player's memory is in actual fact a 256MB chip hacked to show 1GB.

Those files that were copied over the 256MB point only appears with the filename and without data. That's why your player restarts or gives "format error" when it tried to play these files.

i'll suggest you contact your seller for a full refund (sending player back), or at least partial refund (if you are satisfied with 256MB).
