kungfu , the ipods uses itunes to sort your music files into the folders that you set. However, it does not support the folders if you just copy them directly like in the clones.
The itunes attaches some file attributes to each music file, telling the ipod which folder it belongs to and which playlist it belongs to.
So basically to organise your stuff in ipod, you Must use itunes.
