haspak , you will need to install MP3 Utilities. You can either download it from the downloads section, or you can find it on the CD that came with the player.

Next connect your player to the computer and start Upgrade Tool, see if the software detects your player.
If yes, you can proceed to flash all the likely firmwares.

If Upgrade Tool does not detect your player, or your player becomes undetected after flashing one of the firmwares, then you will need to perform the dead player recovery.

Once your player is detected again, continue with your firmware testing.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.
