o_servo , does the MP3 Utilities Upgrade Tool detect your player?

If yes, then you will need to try all the available ATJ2051 firmwares. Is your player the USB thumbdrive style player? i can only find 2 firmwares for the ATJ2051

Give these a try. If they don't work, i'll suggest that you try S1mp3.org, as they are mainly on the USB thumbdrive style player.

If it is not detect by the Upgrade Tool, then you will need to perform the Dead Player Recovery Guide here http://www.mympxplayer.org/dead-play...ide-vt567.html

Also by the way, according to Hynix datasheet, the Hynix HY27UF082G2M is a 2Gigabit (256 MegeByte) memory chip. It is not a 2GB player.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.
