rockette , just treat the player as a normal USB thumbdrive. So when you open the player's drive via My Computer, just right click and create new folders, it's that simple.

To navigate around, usually by long pressing the Menu button, it would exit the current program and revert to the main menu.
Next, scroll to the desired program and press Menu once, it should enter you into the program.

For the movie menu problem, i'll suggest you convert a movie file first. But usually if there isin't a video file inside, there would just be a message "No video files" and the program would exit.
