You will need a PC Emulator for your Mac to be able to use the AMV Converter. It doesn't work for Mac's at the moment.
A few people have asked about this and the best solution is to get a PC Emulator for your Mac and install the AMV Convert Tool to that.
You can do a search for "Convert tool +Mac" and find there are a few posts about this already as well as suggestions about PC Emulators to use.
