Hello, I have the same problem with my i-nickel since i bought it. XP recognises it when it wants to. It took me over an hour yesterday for Xp to read the player. I have to disconnect it and reconnect a hundred times on the off chance that xp will pick it up. Occassioanlly it gets picked up but shows no files on the player and it will not allow you to add any files. Eventually i managed to get it working but half way through loading it up, it just stops again.

One thing that helps is to have it fully charged, there is more chance of it being picked up by XP. Is there any drivers for XP as this seems to be the answer to why it is not being found.
