If you say "solder" and they do not understand then go some place else. You would not take your computer to be fixed at a place where you had to show them a picture of a computer would you?
If you are going to do it yourself, get some thin pieces of copper wire (like 22 gage) to practice soldering with. Soldering small parts on a small board like inside a mp4 player is hard to do. If you do not learn how to solder well before you try to fix your player you will probably burn it up! Read
