Your preaching to the choir buddy, if you had read my post entirely, you would have seen I'm doing it for themes. I'm well aware that updating FW doesn't get you new features.

If the version numbers have no bearing on the exact firmware type, what is the point of them, and how do you concretely identify it as anything?
