Thanks for your advice. The screen on the glacier is a bit too large for my needs though - I'm not planning to watch any movies lol
So...instead, I bought a 2nd gen ipod clone on Ebay yesterday that is a legitimate 4gb and only $48 US including shipping. Not a bad deal! 4GB are quite widely available on Ebay and even Uxcell now, so as long as you check feedback before buying, you should be getting what you pay for.
