Lucky you.

I also had PayPal generously (ha ha!) offer a refund if I paid for tracked return postage for my hacked 1GB player (sold as 4GB). They also suggested I communicate directly with seller (keistore, now changed to keisquare) to resolve dispute. However, there was no provision to advise PayPal I was doing this.

So, while keistore stalled, by not responding to emails, PayPal closed the claim!

Keistore/keisquare has now gone Private with Feedback Profile, & with 100 negatives in the last month I can understand why. However, whilst having a Private Feedback Profile stops everyone from seeing the feedback keistore/keisquare has received, it doesn't stop him making all sorts of false claims about others. What a system!! He gives me negative feedback, saying I didn't communicate with him, which everyone can read, but no-one can see my response, or what feedback I gave him in the first place (& why I gave that feedback). And, call me old-fashioned, but I don't regard 6 emails on my part (3 via a PayPal dispute, & 3 via an ebay dispute) no communication. However, I do call no response to any of those emails as being 'no communication'.

I'd like to say beware of keistore/keisquare, but I fear that by now he has a new ebay identity & is only visiting his old account in order to damage other people's reputations by leaving negative feedback for anyone who dares to reveal him for what he is.

The irony is that the player I bought is a great 1GB player. It has a nice (2 inch) screen, a speaker (not flash, but good enough to listen to in the office at night without wearing earphones etc), it uses readily replaceable Nokia phone batteries, & has a 3.5mm headphone socket. All pluses for me.

All he needed to do was be honest.

Is that too much to ask?
