I know as i sell a lot of these on my site and i pack them specially with 500ma 2pin chargers, they come from the factory with 3pin 500ma chargers and it's the manufacturer that has informed me that the 'glacier' type player must use 500ma charger or above.

Some can charge with the standard 200-300ma charger BUT it will degrade your battery very fast as it cannot give a proper charge to the battery.

I am unsure about a standalone charger for just the battery, you will probably need to search for Nokia accessories for that.

The admins know i run a site that sells mp4, so what i am saying isn't being pulled out of my backside.
What you're saying about the Glacier chargers not being strong enough to properly charge the batteries is, I suppose, worth considering, since many including me, have had battery problems with the Glacier. On the other hand, I consider that the standalone charger I recently got is 250mah, and seems to charge quite well (it just wont charge my dead Nokia). So where do we get these 500mah 2pin or 3pin standalone chargers you say you include with your Glaciers?

CFT: Does the 800mah chargers you found on eBay require owning a Nokia phone? If not, then what kind of power supply do they require? (I kept emailing seller after seller asking them this question, and none were able to give me a clear & proper answer as to what the voltage of the adapter is required to be, and whether it can be a standard walwart adapter or if it must be specifically for a nokia phone).
