Wondering if you guys can help me to check out these functions on your Glacier / Full Metal Platinum 1.8.
I got myself a Full Metal Platinum 1.8 and a Glacier recently and spent hours playing and trying everything. So far I prefer the Glacier than the FMP. However I got problems with both!
The FMP 1.8 has a problem with voice recording. The background noise level when the headphone is plugged in is high (read: unbearable). This happens when recording from the microphone and also from FM radio. I had to unplug the earphone to do recording!
However it has a nice feature that enables it to record mp3 and store it in the music folder. This function isn't available in the Glacier (as far as my technical skill allow me to).
Ebook function is funny in the Glacier too. First page has yellow text with black background, but after that it changes into white text over blue background. I personally prefer the yellow over black (less color, saves battery too perhaps?). The ebook in the FMP 1.8 is yellow over black for all pages.
Please let me know if you have similar problem. Or whether these are just a one-off (or in my case perhaps two-off) defective unit and I should return for exchange soon!
