So i made a mistake, after talking to my guy i found out the player uses 2 4GB chips, not the 1 8GB chip, apparently what he was talking about was that in future they are going to use 1 8GB chip.

_Odyssey you are correct about the memory, 8G represents 8Gb and not 8GB, but i was wrong in reading the number, it's not 8G bu BG, i just couldn't tell the first time.

The correct number is K9HBG08U1M, which is 4GB, now the second mistake is that i didn't see the second 4GB chip, so i reopened the player and took pics of it, so below is the correct pic verifying a 8GB player, sorry for all the previous confusion.
