I created a backup of my firmware, and tried to mod my player with another f/w. Didnt have any scuccess so I loaded the old f/w back, all seemed to update ok. Player booted up and the language was in Chineese, took me a while to figure how to get to english!
ops: anyway, everything looked fine. However, when I go to play a mp3 file now normally where the track name is displayed I get some wierd characters you know like "ypA ypH". This even happens if I change the default language to say dutch, the filename still has funny characters. Any Ideas how I can sort this?
