I know what your problems is... I've extracted firmware of my mp4 machines... a couple of
s1mp3 firmware... and I've moded them succesfully. In fact... I'm proud of my work based on the Mypod theme.
But the machines we are dealing with here is not that kind (s1mp3) nor sigmatel... this firmware version 00.00.0008 is of a Rockchip device... which unfortunately lacks in tools to deal with them.
I've run the sigmatel extractor and it didn't recognize my device... neither the usual s1mp3 extractors. I've checked the poor cd enclosed with my mp4 and there isn't a firmware. Sorry so much
