It's not an easy task, but that's often the only way to recover a dead player.

v3.5.37 firmwares here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-3537-dc16.html

And also try the v3.5.35 firmwares if all the v3.5.37 do not work. List here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-3535-dc15.html
Well I kept trying different firmwares until I have now locked it up. I can see the memory and and able to write to it with windows explorer but now when I try to send new firmware to it using the mp3 upgrade utility it will disconnect itself from the USB port everytime I try to connect. I then have to physically remove it from the USB port to get it to connect again through windows explorer. Any one know how I can get it to allow me to connect to it so I can try another firmware?
