Yes they should lite , but no one would read it. Especially new owners right after they open the box, or start having problems.
I doubt some would even bother to take notice of a big bold warning in red letters as soon as you open the box saying "
Do not under any circumstances attempt to 'upgrade' this players firmware"
You can tell some until you are blue in the face not to do it.. but they'll do it anyway. All you can do is say "I told you so"
