I have now uploaded RockchipPal2.zip to the downloads section. As before, this is a modified Converter.ini file for use with AVIConverter (also available from downloads). Firstly, I have fixed the source/destination problem so you no longer need to edit the file before it will run. Secondly, there is an alternative version (only works in 224x176 resolution) that allows two pass encoding. I had noticed that in "normal" quality, the video quality is excellent, but goes blocky in fast moving scenes. This is probably why many people opted to use high quality mode (with much larger files). If you use two pass mode (have to do each pass separately, see readme) you get variable bit-rate and the blockiness disappears. A typical feature film takes around 200MB in normal quality and looks perfect on the player screen.
