I have an ipod nano clone.. and have the same problem.
I tried the steps above but it dosent work for me.
When I plug the player into the charger with the power on the player OFF, the green LED blinks BRIGHT then goes off.
If I turn the player on, and then plug it in it coms on dim, then the screen goes black and its about equally if not a little more dim.
Same thing happens if I go into fm
Is my battery over charged, or did I just let it drain and now its dead?
