I just recieved a 2GB glacier (from some seller on ebay) and I loaded it up with about 1.5 gigs of music and found that it wouldnt play the last few songs on the list ('format error')

So I go through the steps in the thread above to remove the memory hack to see the real capacity, and it does in fact read 1.90 GB of memory. So I figure it is in fact a 2 gig like it should be.

So I start putting songs on it again and it will only take about 110 songs, or 450 mb of space, and then the computer gives me a "Error copying file of folder: Cannot copy: (Song Title) The directory or file cannot be created". I tried taking all the songs off and putting them back on, and I get the same message over and over.

All of the 110 or so songs that do transfer play and sound great with no problems.

Does this mean that even though after a format it says 2GB, it is really only 512mb or so??? If anyone could help before I start bitchin at the guy who sold it to me, that would be great. Thanks
