The frame rates are preset yes. The sizes and frame rates I quoted are based on some conversions I did when the Glacier first came out but I do not recall what version of the AMV converter I used.
If you want to find the fps for each resolution start a conversion for each size and let it run for 10-15 seconds and then stop it. When you play the resulting AMV file on your PC using the AMV Player right clicking on the picture while it is playing selecting properties will show you the res and fps.
Although the Action chipset players are the most common they have really become outdated now by the Rockchip players which use AVI format at around double the frame rates that AMV players can handle.
