I have the same mp4/mp3 player but 2gb model. First off, the AVI converter from the CD (2.1) is totally useless for converting non chinese DVD's because of different fps.

You should download the latest version of AVI converter which is version 4 from this site, and then download the latest Converter.ini patch from this site and place in the AVI converter installation folder.

I normally use Pal High for tv shows like the simpsons etc, and pal normal for longer videos like Top Gear and some movies. So far, the audio and video is synced when playing on my sumvision sepra pro unless i fast forward a video which sometimes puts it out of synced.

Perhaps someone else can help us with this problem if they have a solution or a simular device.
