Yours is an Actions chip player. It's unlikely any other firmware version will work in your player. And why would you want to 'upgrade' anyway?
Actions chipsets can't exactly be made to do amazing new things with a firmware upgrade. The reason these player die early deaths is through user ignorance. People flashing it with strange firmware types thinking it's going to be better but end up killing it.
While it's true with many different hardware devices, a firmware update can make them sometimes run faster or read a new format or perform better.. this is NOT the case with Actions mp4 players. It's a case of "You can't teach an old dog new tricks". Your firmware version corresponds with the IC chips on the mainboard of the player.. any other version would be incompatible. So forget about trying to make it do all new wonderful things using someone elses firmware... it just don't work like that.
The GOOD NEWS is... your version of firmware can be extracted from your player, backed up and modified with a completely different look and flashed back safely. check out the how to's on "extracting your firmware" and "modifying your firmware" in the
