Default Re: Need difinitive help on avi converter

Hi
Thanks for the reply.
I don't know the exact make but I think it is a rockchip player and it uses the new codec mentioned in my original post. I don't think avi ocnverter 4 that you mentioned will work with my player as it will only play if converted with that codec. Also, I made a mistake about the sample file that came with it that works perfectly; I said it was 23 f.p.s but it was actually 20 f.p.s. I have now found after using it for a while that the sync problem doesn't seem to happen very often with dvd conversions but it still won't work with most music videos which are often at 29 f.p.s.

I also have a second problem. When trying to convert a dvd to play on it, I first have to convert it from the disc using either clone dvd or fab hd decryptor. However, when there are multiple audio streams, it is often hard to know which one to select as neither programmes have the ability to let me listen to each stream before selecting it. What this means is that I often end up with the directors commentary as I can't tell until it has finished converting. Is there any programme you know of that has this facility to listen before converting to vob files ?
Thanks.
