Firmware for these types of players can be incredibly difficult to program. The developers of programs like s1fwx, s1res, s1clone and quite a few clever members on this forum are still trying to figure out how they themselves can create a generic firmware file to suit most players. It's not an easy task as there are so many different players with so many different configurations. You couldn't just grab files, slap them together and expect them to operate a player.
I confess I tried the technique you're suggesting. I wasted a lot of time trying to merge different firmware components and files only to end up with nothing that even resembled working firmware.
You can't add new games to this type of firmware though.. what you see is what you get.
Your best hope is to contact your seller or manufacturer and ask them for a working firmware file for that specific model. If it's complete, you'll be able to load it into s1res and theme it.
