Some questions for you:
1. Has this always been a problem or only just started?
2. How long have you had your player for now?
3. Is it still under warranty from the seller?
4. When connected to your computer using the USB cable, can you transfer files to your player?
5. Have you tried using another USB cable and another computer to charge your player? Is it still doing the same thing after you've tried that?
If you can transfer files to it through the USB cable, then that tells me the connection from your computer to your player is fine so it seems to be more a problem with the battery or the connection to the player from your player's board. However, if you can't transfer files to it, then it's probably a problem with the USB port connection on your player.
If it's still under warranty from the seller, I would suggest calling the seller and telling them about it and get a replacement.
