P0MAH , i've not heard of anyone sending their players back after the warranty period. Perhaps you'll need to wait for uxcell's reply on this.

However, i don't think it's worth to send the player back for repairs. Since it is already out of warranty, that means you'll need to pay for two-way postage (to and fro). Plus you'll need to pay for the repair/replacement costs. All these costs added up, probably would be enough to buy a new player instead.
