Uxcell has like 2 phones that work in the states.
You have to realize that most of Europe works with 2/3 of the GSM fequencies, where as most of the carriers in the states operate on at least 3.
You can google for gsmworld to see a list of the gsm signals for your country/state.
While I've used uxcell, I'm not willing to drop 200 bucks to see if they have a phone that works in the states. And sadly, they don't post user reviews quickly so it's hard to see if anyone else HAS made the leap.
