Probably not. The processor just isn't able to get the speed for SNES. Mine actually does GBC/GBA games (sometimes, but many hang) and will play SNES if you load them into memory, but the speed is never what it should be. All I wanted was a little Super Mario Kart action, but it was so slow I quickly realized why the manufacturer sdidn't include SNES compatibility on the list. Give it a try and load an SNES rom. It may just play.
NES games=8 bit
SNES gemes = 16 bit.
