They are sure tricky to open , but its entirley possible , What you have to do is:
The white plastic surrounding the headphone jack is just stuck on there. Grab a knife and put it into the lip next to the headphone jack and try to lift up the white plastic , its just like a sticker , once removed it reveals two screws , remove the screws and slide it out by pushing the pcb and battery , the buttons should just drop down a bit and slide out aswell , from they i think you must lift the battery to reveal the chip number.
