Wow! Then my big mistake... I didn't know that there were specific chip-sets for camera-enabled MP4 players.
Anyway, since you say that the player is less "salvageable" in case of a crash i've been scouting for other alternatives in the same price range (90$):
-Meizu M6: a little bit more expensive (115$) and with less specs: video capabilities capped at 20 FPS, no SD slot, less customization options, BUT with better battery and more firmware support;
-Newman Q90 (meizu m6 clone): less expensive (60$), Rockchip, better video, expansion slot (miniSD), customizable look and firmware, but weaker battery (can be swapped though) and the danger of giving up on you, firmware-wise.
So if you were me, which one would you chose, because i'm in a slump right now and can't decide.
Is it wort it to risk buying a no-name brand for better specs or should i stick with something i know there is lots of support?
