Hi! I have exactly the same mp4 player. It isn't 8gb, it is really 2 GB.
Have you recovered it? Me not, at this moment I have recovered it as an USB Disk, but I'm attempting to do the next step and recover it as an Mp4 player, trying diferent firmwares, but no one worked.
