Petester , it's a matter of trial and error of finding suitable settings for these AMV conversions.
You'll be amazed at how your new clients find the videos a great feature, and totally disregard the slight jerky nature due to the FPS. Afterall, it would cost them so much lesser than a real ipod or similar.
Also, is the overall colour of the demo video in the player of relatively the same? For example, the video shows the same few images, or a slow moving video?
It could be due to these few things that the demo video might appear "smooth", as there are not many screen image changes, so you can't really notice the "jerkiness".
You would most likely observe the jerkiness when you encode a fast moving video like some action thriller shows etc.
