Dragonduster , you'll need to lift/pry open the white cover (where the On/Off switch is), hidden below it would be the screw(s) that holds the player together. You might need to check the bottom of the player too, there might be a screw there also.
Once the screws are removed, the player should be able to be slided out of the external casing. Note that you might need to depress the buttons to avoid damaging the circuit board.
